I worked with Doug Lumsden and Space Saver Rowing Systems when installing the entire boatshed for Redlands School in the Mosman Shed. Doug was very innovative and hugely helpful with all aspects of the installation. There was nothing that was too much for Doug. Doug was attentive and was able to think outside the box to provide an innovative racking system. The motorised racking system that was installed has been a huge success. The system has alleviated so many previously troublesome issues. From a safety perspective the system solves the issue of damage to boats and injuries to rowers when lifting boats high on steps above their head. The system halved the time taken to get on and off the water. The entire racking system has been a huge success and in particular the motorised system has been applauded by, coaches, rowers, parents and the School.

Motor boat (tinnie) stacker
The coaches mechanical stacker finally makes it cost effective to securely and safely store your cumbersome coaches boats where they can be contained, if need be, in a fire proof room. Consider the issues surrounding a fire and 60 litres of outboard fuel (eg 3 motor boat fuel cans) as what occurred in the Sydney boatshed arson attacks.
Or simply get them out of the way so you can access your rowing boats without having to remove 6 motor tinnies from each storage isle. Two models are available; one stores 6 tinnies while the other stores 3.
The design is based around the ‘roll on - roll off’ principle so you never have to remove anything off the tinnie again. Each arm can take either flat or curved hulls up to 4m in length. Again an electrical winch with double controls is used to power the tinnie stacker.
